a.)    On the War Inc. front page, click on “Play For Free”

b.)    Once there, decide on a username and password and enter your email address.

c.)     Read and Agree to the Terms of Service and the Privacy policy then click “Play For Free” when ready.

d.)    Once logged in, you will be taken to your account page.  From here, click the “Play Game” button in the top menu.

e.)    Click on the “Download Game Client Here” link to begin to download the installer, called “WarInc_WebSetup.exe”.

f.)     Save the file to a directory of your choice.

g.)    Once the download has completed, open and run the file WarInc_WebSetup.exe from the directory you downloaded it to.

h.)    Please read over the liscence agreement before continuing with the installation, if you agree to the policy, select “I Accept” and then click “Next >”

i.)      Select the Destination to which you wish to install the game to, in most cases this will default to C:\Program Files\War Inc Battlezone

j.)      By default, War Inc. creates a folder in your start menu allowing for easy access to the game by pressing start.  However, if you wish for it not to create a menu, just check the box “Don’t create a Start Menu folder” and click on “Next >”.   Should you wish to create a folder in your Start Menu, don’t check the box and continue the installation by clicking “Next >”.

k.)    Next you will be prompted if you want the installer to perform any additional tasks during the installation, check any additional things you would like the installer to do (Create a Desktop Icon) and then click “Next >” to continue the installation.

l.)      War Inc. is now ready to install, verify the information in the box and then click “Install” to begin the installation process.

m.)  Once completed, You will be given the option to Install Direct X, if you already have DirectX installed or do not wish to install it, simply un-check the box.

n.)    Make sure “Launch Game” is checked and press finish to launch the game.

Logging In for the First Time :

a.)    Now that you’ve finished the installation, launching the game will load the updater.   From here, enter your username and password, then click “Login >” to log in.

b.)    Once logged in, the game will begin downloading updates and patches to the game.  This could take a while depending on your internet connection.   So take this time to familiarize yourself with the game by checking out the forums.   Clicking on links on the updater will not cancel or pause your download.

c.)     Once the game has finished updating, the “Play Game” button will become illuminated.  This means your game as is ready to play!  Just click the button and enjoy the battlezone!

 Steam version:

a.) Launch Steam.

b.) Click on Store

c.) Search for War Inc

d.) Click on War Inc. Battlezone

e.) Click the Install button on the War Inc steam page.

f.) After it finishes installing launch War Inc. Battlezone to launch the War Inc Launcher.

g.) Let the launcher finish updated and you're ready to start!
